THE QUESTIONS:
- This Time Around is the single. Yes, but is it a single single that you can
physically go out and buy? Like, an actual CD with a cover photo and a B side? Or will it be an MTV/radio single?
- Are we going to see individual writing credits on this album or what? Will the day ever come
where there is actually a song credited to Z. Hanson?
- After Ric Ocasek got the boot, were the songs he produced re-recorded? If yes, where in god's name
are the tapes of the ones he did record, and how many of my limbs would you want for me to hear them?
- So, we've all seen the pictures of Taylor with the guitar. Does he actually play it, or is it like JC in the
Tearin' Up My Heart video- strictly for ornamental purposes?
- How many session musicians played on this album? Because Middle of Nowhere was like, Starring Hanson and a
Cast of Thousands.
- Hidden tracks? Studio banter? Funny noises that sound eerily like Zac screaming "Sex! Drugs!?"
- What ever happened to Smile? Did it make the cut for the album, or will it be a B side like Cried. (Which, by
the way, is a great song.)
- Is there anyone on this planet who can procure an accurate track list? Huh? Please? I'd pay you.
- Who's the bass player? He's quite prominent. And quite good.
- How many of these songs are going to have scratching on them? We've only heard five tracks
and two of them have it. That's 40%, an exceedingly high ratio, especially if you're not Beck
or Dr. Dre.
- Does Zac sing, or what?
- Will the singles be released as actual CD singles overseas, so at least if we can't get them
on our home turf, we can spend zillions for the imports?
- Is Zac still singing the high parts, or is that pretty much Taylor's territory at this point?
- Jordan Taylor Hanson, is that a keyboard I'm hearing at the beginning of This Time Around?! Is it?! If I
catch you playing with it again, I'm going to take it away. Is that clear?
Bottom line: Dear God. How will I ever make it to May 9 at this rate?
