EXCURSIONS

ALBERTANE TOUR:

Great Woods Revisited: Memories of my first Hanson concert, written a year after the event.
A True Story. I swear.: A wacky little fictionalization of the events leading up to our first Hanson concert in the summer of 1998. Written for my friend Corinne on her 18th birthday, long before Bright and Beautiful was a twinkle in my eye.
Hartford: The long and twisted tale of our second experience seeing Hanson at the very end of the Albertane tour.

MECCA: CORINNE AND LAURA GO TO TULSA:

Corinne and I visited Tulsa in the spring of 1999 to see Admiral Twin perform at Mayfest and to see the sights, so to speak. Here are the mussings and ramblings concerning the Golden City.

Tulsa is…
Admiral Wonderfulness
Stranded at the Drive-in Movie
There's No Place Like Home

THIS TIME AROUND PROMOTIONAL TOUR:

Go Play in Traffic: The pre-TTA drought finally got to us. We wanted to celebrate, to ring in the arrival of This Time Around in style. So we went to New York. And stood in Times Square for many hours. And went to TRL.
The Sinful City: A recounting of Hansony happenings in New York City when Hanson wasn't even there.
Outside Providence: On June 4, various members of the Bright and Beautiful family ventured southward to see Hanson perform at radio station shows in Groton, CT and Providence, RI. Read the strange and moderately interesting reviews of both shows.

THIS TIME AROUND TOUR:

Tour X: A direct result of the frustration we were all feeling when the New York Times reported in the spring of 2000 that Hanson didn't have a backer for their tour.
Panic!: A rant about the sudden announcement of the tour dates for the This Time Around tour.
Philadelphia: Our first show.
Boston: The home game.
Indianapolis: The out-of-town gig.
Montreal: Hanson en Francais. Well. Not really.
Looking Back: After it's all over.

ACOUSTIC '03:

Live from the Swoon Pit (06.22.03): Laura sends her ex-roommate to the LifeBeat benefit. Miraculously, she survives.
Good Morning, Baltimore (08.10.03): And so the craziness begins again.
Fly to NYC (08.17.03): Hanson takes Manhattan.
Crazy Beautiful: Albany (09.08.03): Appreciate the craziness.
Buffalo Soldier (10.20.03): In which the sight of Isaac Hanson nearly kills Laura dead of wonder and joy.
Carnegie Hall (02.08.04): The night Hanson played Carnegie Hall.

ACOUSTIC '04:

Mid-Atlantic Scrapbook: (04.18.04): Three shows. Three states. And the real tour hasn't even started yet.
